Most everyone who buys KYB's gets the AGX's. Good shock for the money. ::2Cents::

Had the GR2 on my 95M. They were much harsher than stock. The AGX is a much better deal for the money.
Probably cuz the stock ones were worn out! Works fine, nothing special though. My 92 came with a set. Just a replacement shock, they might be a tad harsher than stock but still a nice cushy ride. Love my AGX though...never had them with stock springs though.Quote:

Crank up the damping and you can really stiffen up the ride. They're hard to beat for the money. Plus, I finally got to drive Mark52's CSP car which has AGXs and Ground Control coilovers. I was very impressed with how they handled the higher spring rates.
Sorry, no experience with the GR-2 except in for in a Mazda 626 back in high school. They were a big improvement in handling for my friend's car over the stock shocks.
