I am in the middle of replacing my stock shocks with Koni Sports. The dust boots on my old shocks were crunchy and falling apart. The Konis did not come with any kind of boot. Do I need to get some kind of boot for the Konis? If so, does anyone know from where?

The OEM boots have the bumpstops integrated in them. You can get some generic (ie, Rancho's) boots, but you'll need your bumpstops off your old boots.
I picked up some generic boots at a 4x4 shop near POS's old shop... if you can find some, they'll work just fine.
I went and replaced the boots with new OEM ones when I did the POSII, figured the bump stops were as crunchy as the original boots. YMMV

Thanks for the help, everyone. Man, I really wish I would have thought of this before I started, as the holidays really put a crimp on any quick options. Oh well, the Miata will have to sit on jack stands a few extra days. I'm not sure if I'm going with the 4x4 boots or the OEM boots, but I will decide on Tuesday, when everyone is open again.

Gary at TDR did not have any boots and the boots from the Hiley were too expensive (more on this later in another thread, as I just received an email from Jason Hiley), so I called Mike's Off Road Accessories in Haltom City, off 121 and Minnis. He set me up with some black Rancho boots for $13.92 for all four. They appear to fit just fine, along with my old bump stops. Let's hope the rest of the day continues this well.

As long as you are not going to nationals or a tour it does not matter but non-oem bump stop are not legal in stock class. I may have some oem bump stops. I will look.
