CEL came on the other day so I just looked it up and it's:
15 Oxygen sensor (output too low)
What would cause this? I just replaced the O2 sensor 2/3 weeks ago when I put the rebuilt motor back in. Just the regular Bosch O2 sensor, I've used before. I checked the wire yesterday but I'll double check it in the morning when there's light.
If it isn't the wiring, I would think it would have to be a bad sensor. Why did you replace it? Where you getting the same CEL with the old one?
I get the same CEL code...however, mine is sporadic.
Okay, I was not getting the code with the old one, which was over around 2 yrs old. With more light, before the monsoon hit, I was able to find that one of the mounting tabs on my FM coil bracket broke and the wire rubbed against it cutting it!::Rant:: Always something stupid like this seems to happen as soon as I fix another thing! Oh well, wire is an easy fix and FM will probably send another bracket. They're usually pretty good with service.
