'99 engine swap

Still working on figuring out my engine issues. I have a line on a reasonably priced '99 motor - and I've been searching the :batman: board for info.

Anyone here done a 1.8L NB into a 1.8L NA swap? Advice? Pitfalls? Is it worth the trouble over a 1.8L NA motor?

I know the head is supposed to flow better, no HLAs, etc. I gather I'd use my current fuel rail and fpr, install the '96 CAS (re-use my '96 cam cover?), re-use my '96 exhaust manifold. Anything I'm missing? Where do I pick up the RPM signal to trigger the VICS solenoid?

Craig, I just replied to your post on M.Net. I did the swap last year. I'll look over my notes and let you know some of the details and problems I encountered.
