How many people are coming to this? I was thinking that we may be able to get a TCB price on rooms by going in as a group and reserving early.

I'm in... for sure... :colors:
I'm bringing this one up the rankings! 8)
So who is planning on attending the last 2 ER events for the 2004 Season???
Challenge Cup Event #9 & #10
November 6-7, 2004
Mineral Wells Airpark

:P
I'm 99% sure I'm going to be there. I think the wife has realized that driving to Nebraska for a weekend ( ) would force her to take a day off of work, or go without sleep for three days. Since I don't even remember why were going up there, I'm pushing hard at this point to just send a card to whoever it was for whatever they did.
I'm glad my side of the family is small... and lives in Scotland! :P
I plan to be there both days. Not going to spend the night in MW, though.
I'm in for 1 of them. Probably Saturday since we've been working Sundays again.
HHHmmm, I might make it to a saturday.
The points race in CSP is realy tight again this year. These last 2 events will determine whether I or Mike Steinbach (yellow Datsan roadster) gets the First place trophy! If I'm counting correctly, I have to beat Mike at least one more time to secure First. It's a one-point spread, so who knows what will happen.
BTW, I just made reservations at the Best Western at 4410 Highway 180 E for Saturday night. The price is a little steep for a BW ($90), but my family will be out there with me, watching daddy secure 4th place in CS. :? Anyway, ER folks usually go to the Pizza Hut nearby, and have a Pizza "party"... and last year they paid for everyone (meaning, I don't know what they'll do this year). :thumrigh: Or we could do an MME dinner like we did the year before.
So who's staying over on Saturday night?
I was thinking about it, but not for $90 a night. :?
Anyone want a co-driver/tire warmer for either day. Very unlikely I'd be a real threat to screwing up the season points for anyone :)
I'd run the P5, but Olivea needs it on the weekends, the scirocco is dead, and the t-bird, lets just say its not a car meant for the track.
Hmmmm... I may be defecting and going to play with our other Japanese convertible friends in Arkansas...
Yeah, I have to admit that $90 is a bit much for a Best Western. On the other hand, there are other... cheaper?... options. I think the Ramada Inn is less expensive (I think they want $68 per night), and it's only about a block further west (the Best Western is right where you turn left to head to the airpark). Or you could just stay for dinner and drive home afterwards.Quote:

I've got a tent I'll lend you for $25! :PQuote:

Maybe I should just pay for your room... in Cleveland, Ohio! That's the only way I'm going to steal 2nd (or 3rd) place in CS.
I don't stay in $30 hotels with my family. Motel 6's and Super 8's are scary places if you actually care about your wife and kids. :shaking: Now, if I was going alone, that would be a different story...
Maybe onething will loan you the molester van and you can sleep down by the river! :nutkick:Quote:
