*GONE* FREE used driver's side window regulator
OK kids... helluva deal here. I've got the old driver's window regulator out of my car and it really doesn't look bad - a good cleanup would probably get it back to new. All the pulleys and cables are in good shape, but it's just a little gunked up. I bought a new one on a whim the other day and installed it, so it ain't my problem any longer. Anyhow, I can't bear to throw it away so if anybody would like to take it and clean it up to try and fix a stiff window, lemme know. I'm about 95% sure it would respond to a little rehab...
I know our windows get cranky from time to time, so here's a good little weekend afternoon project for you! I guarantee you'll spend more time cleaning up old grease than you will swapping regulators.
And, BTW, if you want it, you gotta take a pair of headlights with ya... :rolleyes:
