First road trip

Well we finally got the miata problems worked out to a point that we felt comfortable taking a road trip .
We left out Wed. afternoon and headed to Shrevport,La.
With a few tools ,top down, and hair a blowing we took off ,down below Tyler we turned on the A/C just to see what the temp did and in a short time it started to go up ,so off with the A/C
Drove 60 to 70 mph with no problems came back Sunday night and again no problems .
We almost had to give in Sun night and stop to put the top up as it started to get cool at 11:00 at night.
No we could not have stayed that long without the rooms and meals being free . We did manage to bring back more than we lost but did begin to worry after Sat.night and we were on the losing end of the slots.
Sun afternoon we started winning and finally got the wins ahead of the losses we left with more than we took
Any way the trip was really quite enjoyable .
