I got the SPEC stage 2 clutch installed last year, I am not having a problem with it but it's makin a weird whistling noise in the first 1/2 inch of petal...does this sound like it needs an adjustment?

no, you need to put grease on the pushrod at the Slave Cylinder, where it pushes the preasure plate. Common problem, I have to re-grease once a year.
