Tesla (GTech Pro Competition folks) made my week

After a looooooong delay, they've finally released the "road race" firmware. I'm excited. Wish I had the unit here at work with me so I could load it up and go take some corners with the VW... 2 MB of storage is good for at least 1.5 hours at 20 Hz. Coolness.

In any event, it'll be getting some exercise at the S2K event this weekend, and I'd probably like to drop it in some other cars as well. It just suction-cups to the windshield and plugs in to the cigarette lighter socket.

If you're interested, make sure you don't queue up in the same run group I'm in. From my experience, we won't need to recalibrate the tach for any Miatas.

Dang I need to get mine back from Bam so I can load the new firmware and test on the P5. I've been wanting that firmware for almost 2 years now. Its good to see that they finally released it.

I'd be happy to play guinea pig for a heat, TC. It would be interesting to see some data.
