How much oil??

I know a bit more motor oil is a good thing for those of us who actually race our cars.

But how much do you kids run?

In the over also to making sure.

4qts or just a hair more. Usually fill it to the full marker and then 1/4 to 1/2 a quart, not so much its over the plastic indicator

4-1/2 is what I have done in the past. Got 5qts sitting in the garage currently.

4 quarts.

Same Here. I add 1/4 quart before a track event. This is pretty typical with most guys that track there cars.

Why not get one of these http://www.flyinmiata.com/Store/images/04-37310.jpg along with an oil cooler?
That way you can also increase the amount of oil in the car and give yourself peace of mind.

Just changed it and put in 1 gallon/4 quarts.

I use just slightly less the 4 qts. I'm old school when it comes to filling the oil, I don't want to blow my O rings.

I had a GF that blew my O ring. Dang I miss her:D

i kissed a girl that was knowledgeable in this field. we need to compare notes, i think i wanna throw up now.

and i run 4 qts. but never worried if i was around a 1/4 over, but with 4 qts, youll prolly not over, unless you forgot to change the filter or something.
