My boys are disappointed

:( Their original XBOX crashed last night. It sounds like the HDD crashed as it has the ominous clicking sound and red and green flashing eject button.

Anyone know of a reputable trade-in service that will take my old console in trade for a refirbed one with a warranty?

I could get one on eBay but then I don't know what I'm getting. I also can get a HDD and MB combo for about $70 + S&H.

Anyone upgrade to a 360 and want to sell their old working console to us for a CB Deal?

I wish we could get them a 360 but the price is too steep. $300+ is a bit pricey for us. ::BaHump::

Don't joke. I wish I still had my 2600. I'd love to have that with Pitfall along with Adventure, Combat, ET, Defender, Frogger, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Riddle of the Sphinx, and River Raid to name a few.

Don't throw out those old Atari, Intellivision, NES, or any other old old old (NES or older) game console or non-PC computer.

Broken, working, etc... I use 'em for parts. There are still folks out there that want old parts to keep their old stuff running.

286 & older PCs are good too... I like the MFM/RLL controllers for the old static RAM chips. :D

Hey... this is most definitely entirely off the subject, but I've been looking at picking up an old "cocktail table" style Galaga (or Space Invaders, or Dig Dug, or Centipede, etc...) arcade game. I've seen 'em refurbed on fleaBay for $1000-1500, but is there some place local that sells 'em?

Actually i would'nt mind having another Atari if I could get pong and the pong controllers....lol to go with my Sega genesis.
I am on my 3rd PS2 still waiting for the bugs to get worked out to get a PS3
