One more time before I put them on the pointy board. It's a good price for the seats as research shows the leather covers alone are selling for over 500 a pair. My Roadsters will be here Thursday so the seats will be available on Saturday.
The Sparco Roadsters are here and being installed tomorrow so these have got to find a new home...........
When you get the Sparco Roadsters in, I definately want to see some pics. I have the Sparco Fighter in mine, and thank god I am crafty when it comes to fabrication. Nothing like cutting up a $500 brand new seat. Used stock seat rails so I can still push seat back to get out, and welded in bracket for thigh harnesses. The only drawback with the Sparco Fighter is the huge shoulder wings it has. Like to find a comparable seat that fits better in the confines of the Miata. Have been looking for some Buddy Club installs to see differences.
I will take some pics of the install tomorrow.
Last time I saw Sparco roadsters in a Miata, they were trimmed the same way your seat is trimmed for door panel clearance. The shoulder winglets are smaller on those seats than on yours, and this means less material was removed.Quote:
