Ahh, the memories. I believe I was around 14 when a friend of mine did a stint at the golf club cleaning all the carts and putting them on the chargers each night. We ripped up many a fairway. I can tell you with certainty that a stock electric golf cart with 2 14 year olds in it will not clear a sand trap, regardless of the angle of the lip. I am pretty sure we tried every one. It should be noted that the sand makes for a nice soft landing that will prevent breaking the wheels off of the solid axle, but it is not an easy task for 2 kids to get a golf cart out of the sand. ;)
