$200 seems awful steep for a one day event...
I'd go if my clutch weren't blow-t up.
How many run sessions are there and how long are the run sessions on a one day event at Apex? I have a friend who has given a positive feed back for Apex, however, I did not ask the pesky details at the time.
Last Saturday we got on the track 7 times in the novice section...1 for drills, 2 non-helmet at 60-70% and 4 WOT. If you are experienced with that track layout you can get 1 non helmet and 6 WOT sessions. I thought it was a very good rate considering there were only 13 in both classes. The Drivers Edge events run 80-90 people and it is very crowded in all classes. Apex doesn't have as many rules to follow but in my opinion is a lot safer because of the lack of crowds. John runs a tight ship but this is way more relaxed. I ran in the novice class because I was not familiar with their program even though I had 8 sessions at MSR running clockwise. I also have signed up for novice in the 1.3 becasue I have never run it as well. I am very comfortable on the track however it is beneficial to me to hear from other drivers on tips and technique...........
I got that Saturday off, so I signed up and paid this morning. :D :burnrubr:
