Did a little interior work today
I've mentioned it before, but the weatherstrip around the driver door of the sled has had issues for a while. It finally got too far recently, allowing a few drops of water to wander in during heavy rain. I guess the bulge and tear should've given it away, right?
Anyway, I've got a couple of extra days off this week and decided to dig into the door for the first time since it's been with me. Trickyrix was kind enough to pop by and lend a hand in the efforts of the afternoon. Thanks, man!
The weatherstrip was suprisingly easy to replace once the door was apart. I thought it would be a chore. So much for that preconceived notion!
As is my standard style, one thiing kinda led to another. The Pioneer speakers that sammm installed (I think) are about to give up the ghost. Replacements are on order. But you know, there were a few rattles coming from inside the door...
Here are some lovely pictures for you. :D

Pulled off the plastic sheet, removed the power lock module and degunkified the metal.

Rolled in some Damplifier (not TCB approved) inside & on the door

Finished up the sound deadener (or as much as I cared to)

Installed the squeaky clean, '94 door panel
I was too toasty warm to do the passenger side, but sound quality has greatly improved already, and road noise considerably less! Only about 3lbs added to the door, too, if that. ::Banana::
More goodies on the way, too, so I'll be sure to pester you guys again pretty darn soon. ;)
