I'd be more interested to know why the auction lists it as an F-250....
Is'nt 'L' a 1991 model vin.
I vote for Maaco!
I've never got close to 33 mpg. Maybe if you drive like a :cat: you could but not like :burnrubr:
Yep, and downhill with the wind behind you with the car coasting in nuetral. 33 mpg? So, the topless aspect no longer is the wow factor, now they have play up on the ever rising gas prices. Even if it does get that good of mileage, the color is still GAY.
I got 30 on a trip to Lubbock, but outside of that .....23-24
And I am not sure how much lumber you could haul in that F-250
It's possible. There was a teal one and it belonged to Tom Matano at Mazda. Last I heard he still had it, so the "one owner" could be a clue. If it is the real thing, someone on Miata.net should know.......
As for gas mileage, I've averaged 32mpg on every Miata I've ever had, as long as I was just commuting. On the track, that would be down to 12-14, and "spirited" driving around 25. Even the 2006, I have averaged 30mpg in 5400 miles. Of course, it hasn't been to the Ranch, yet!
I doubt it - but stranger things have happened. From the story on M.net, the teal car was owned by Bob Hall's bro-in-law. In the photo below, the teal car has an R-package lip, new wheels, and possibly suspension mods. If it's really a "one-owner" car, seems like he'd not return it to stock and then sell it cheap - since he'd obviously know what it is.
OTOH, the rockers on the EBAY car are black. Many resprays don't get that.
Many pictures? Really? I see one. And a crappy, small one, shot inside under florescent lights to boot. I'm supposed to drop $4k based on that? :rolleyes:Quote:
Please note that many pictures have been taken of this vehicle so that the potential bidder will have the best possible understanding of this vehicle and know exactly what it is that you are bidding for.
I'm always weary of bidding on something that was an obvious cut-n-paste job for the listing. I don't really want to deal with someone who can't be bothered to get even their basic facts straight (Ford F-250?!?!). Is it really rust free and well maintained, or is that part referring to the F-250 and they 'forgot' to change that part, too...
Oooh, "bulletproof" 1.6l and 5 speed!
I must be stronger than bullets cause I've gone through a couple 1.6's and a 5 speed!::Drive2::
