Saw this on my Cadillac Forum, should be interesting to see how it did after 50 years.

I can't say I would mind a '57 with 0 miles
Tulsarama?
I've been waiting for this thing for about 6 months. I want to see how it turns out. It's had a lot of publicity.
But did this make the Caddy forum???
Saw that cadilac article in AutoWeek about 6 months ago. Supposedly they have tried to corosion proof it with the best 1950's technology around. I think it will come up a rust bucket unless they nitrogen encapsulated it in a hermatically sealed container.
We know it'll come out with a helluva funk! ::Fart::
Concrete and metal don't mix. Hope there's enough left of the car to even give away.
Are they digging up the capsule on June 15th? I didn't read anywhere that said when.
Take a look at this...
From the countdown clock at the top, it looks like they're going to do it at noon on the 15th...
Ok, so 50 years ago they had people guess what the population would be in 2007 and the person with the closest guess wins the car? Shouldn't that read "person with the closest guess who happens to still be alive fifty years later wins the car"? Isn't 50 years a bit long to be waiting for raffle results ;)
...especially when the Grand Prize is a dry-rotted, rat-infested 1957 Plymouth!
that car is going to be one big rust brown parking lot brick. at lest there's enough gas down there with it to put in the tow truck to get it to a junk yard
Well it doesnt look good.
Rust bucket
Here is a link to a video showing the "Water" that was surrounding the car
It'll take the curse of Christine to bring that sucker back.
My doubts are still great about that car coming out ok.
