FS/FT: Powerdercoating

I'm taking an internship at a powder coating place as a second job. During my training I need parts to practice coating.

I've got the hook-up with powder at cost and I'm willing to share it, provided some people can actually hook me up.

I'm not getting paid for this internship as such;
I'll trade labor for (cost for powder not included):

Scirocco MKI or MKII parts
Car audio (need amp(s), speakers, headunit)
4x100 wheels
Corrado stuff
Digital SLR (preferably Cannon)


or

20% over cost for powdercoating


I just want some practice shooting and to learn a trade. Not marking up the cost of powder or charging for media blasting, if it needs it, I'll blast it.

How big can you go on the powder coating? Just valve covers and such or can you do a metal headboard to a bed or metal chairs?

What's the cost of the materials?

Hmm...I was just about to paint the 2 sets of "daisy" wheels that I use for track tires. How much is it going to be to powder coat a set of wheels?

Canon Dslr= a LOT of powdercoating. I would be interested in powdercoating the centers of my Enkeis black or gunmetal and leaving the lips silver.

I have a Thunder MTX 4 channel amp and a pair of 6X9 pioneer door speakers.

I don't have a miata right now but I've had many of them in the past. I have an s2000 though. So do you still have the mercedes?

Someone needs to give ownerizer a ride in a miata! I've been telling him to go test drive one for a while now...
