Lake Tahoe

Well I got back from Lake Tahoe Saturday. It was a very nice trip, we had plenty to do. And thankfully the fire had been put out mostly before we arrived. It could have been much worse as it was very close to the city of South Lake Tahoe. Here are some of the pictures from the vacation.

Thanks guys, and I wish my legs werent hairy....

I took those with my nikon d50, and either a 17-50 f2.8, a 50mm 1.8, or a 80-200 2.8.

And you're right about the crazies -- the one time I was there was in August and it was during a heat wave. There is no way I would've waded in but there sure were a lot of people in the water.

When Katie and I were there the first of June, the water temperature was still around 39° F. I waded in a little, but there was no way I was going to go swimming in that without a wetsuit.
