Looks like the only American is out of F1 for the time being. There are rumors of a test position for another team, or coming back to America to race.

It's not a big loss. He was a decent driver, but I really didn't enjoy his interviews.
Yeah, he was too "street punkish" at first, which killed his integerity for life, as F1 (and the fans) are a bit unforgiving.
Sad to see a US guy go out, but with F1 out of the US for next year, kinda seemed like this was coming (even if not related).
Maybe Marco can work his way the F1 direction?
I won't miss his answers any interview question:
"Yeah....no....."
Kind of drove us crazy.

The news this weekend is that Luizzi is going to be replaced by Bourdais from the Champcar world series in 2008. So it will be Vettel and Bourdais in those seats next year.
Wonder who will be partnering with Sutil next year.
BTW, they have one of the best online F1 magazines around. Incredible graphics, layout and content. Here is the link:

Speed was a tool anyways, plus Bourdais will be joining the ranks next year so all is good in my book. The April Champ Car race in Houston just won't be as interesting without him kicking everyone around.
Or more interesting with someone else having a chance to win. The season was looking competitive until the latest round at Road America. Now Bourdais is looking much stronger.
