We made it in our borrowed truck and borrowed trailer. Looking forward to the Evo school tomorrow and then racing on Tuesday. I feel a lot looser than last year.

Have fun and keep us posted.
Best of luck Jerrett!
Good luck Jimmy! Keep us posted! :burnrubr:
Win it all!!
Miss the cones!! But just barely!
Looking forward to hearing the great results!
good luck!!!
Do good! I want to hear all year how the 2 Jimmies kicked butt and took names at Nationals back in 2010.
What they said.
Good luck JJ!!!
So far, the best "hard-luck" story we've heard was about the CP driver hitting a mattress on the highway.
The guy didn't stop & the mattress caught fire under the truck as he drove down the road.
The truck burned to the ground but they got the trailer unhooked in time.
Geesh!!
Just got done at the pro. Definitely tough competition!
I had the fastest time on the right course of everyone in ST and STS but couldn't get the same done on the left...
Madarash ended up in second I think. He is only slower at the start.
The Toyos feel so much better on this surface than the Kumhos did. The car felt great at the Evo school. I am looking forward to Tuesday.
Practiced in Jim Crider's ESP Cobra Mustang. Laughed out loud it was so much fun.
Jason McCall and I leave tomorrow morning - practice Wednesday, race Thursday/Friday in CSP.
Just walked West Course a few times. Looks like lots of fun. fast transitions with a couple of suck you in slow corners. placement will be everything IMHO.

Awesome courses!
It's gonna be fast!!!
We're just glad the 40mph wind gusts stopped... for now!
While we were in the Strategic Air and Space Museum, Jimmie noticed that the tail number on a plane was familiar. After he looked at the plane's history, he realized that he actually flew in that exact plane during his time in the armed forces. Amazing!
Watching this turbo-rotary-powered Sprite during the Pro Solo was incredible. I cannot believe how fast this car is. When he presses the gas, it looks like someone pressed the fast-forward button on life. It's just amazing how quick it spools up and accelerates. Yes, I had sex with the car last night.

The car's on the trailer - just a few loose ends to wrap up in the morning before our target blast off time of 9:00 am. JJ - can you put in a good word for us with the green Bugeye... maybe we can have a romantic interlude too... Nationals is so much fun. I can't wait to get there.
I'm pretty stoked. This is gonna be fun!
Windchill this morn.... 46!
STS is one of the first classes out this morning. Go Texas Region folk! Live results at sololive.scca.com!
Day 1 STS results are in:
5th T Andrew Hahn
6th T David Whitener
11th T Kerry Coughlin
17th Neal Bellamy
19th Jimmy Jan
27th Steve Eberlein
28th Todd Milstead (no clean runs :( )
35th Phil Adams
37th Phil Osbourne
41st Jimmy Stewart
42nd Bob Neff (no clean runs :( )
Looks like baby Hedderick is sitting in the final trophy spot in D Modified after Day 1!
So A stock was pretty slow (as a class). And I think Jim H would be in second if it weren't for a cone.
Also STR was a lot slower than I was expecting.
Got the car ready to roll out yesterday...

We ran into some friends.

And we're finally in Nebraska! Still got a little ways to go, but almost there...

Jason's doing his best armadillo impression. Or maybe he's just had too much of the good life.

I am having a much better time than last year. Being healthy and having better tires really makes a difference.
So Kiesel driving that green bug-eyed sprite (pictured previously) has a 3 second lead on second place (Bob Tunell)!
Thought I would show you all some love...

great to see TX region represent!
Been lurking for a couple of months, but this car intrigued me. On board videos of the car are posted here: http://www.youtube.com/user/7parts#p/u
Best of luck to everyone. It's fun following along.
I just watched the video above. I don't see how that car can be in the same class as Jerrett's Miata. Or did I read this thread wrong?
Thank goodness. This is why I can't autox. I can't keep up with all the rules much less read the courses.
