Another great event by NTS2K. Fun and fast. 10 runs on a 80+ seconds course! :burnrubr:
10 runs!? How can you get 10 runs! I don't think I am that slow and held up everyone that we got only 8 runs when I was there!Quote:

Figures that a blown Stalker would show up at the first S2K this year that I have missed. ::Rant:: How did it do?
Nice pics, apex2apex. I think the fourth one really sums up MR -- a large tarmac with some great scenery.
I did not see the Stalker's times, but judging from what I saw while working, he is still fairly new to this. I am thinking the car might have been brand new, too. The tires certainly were. I wished I could have spoken with him about his car, as it was very well built. It was a great looking car.
It was too bad my allergies spoiled it a little for me. I was miserable all last night, too, and today is only looking marginally better. Such is life.
Brad, thanks for letting me try your NC in a fun run. It felt really good and the engine had a very nice power delivery.
Spins pretty well at highway speeds too from what I saw ;)
I thought it was a good event, 10 runs is a bit too much of a beating on the tires though. I also had a blast during fun runs driving the supercharged Elise, they sorted out the suspension and it's total night and day from the last time when I went for an agricultural adventure :D

Great event! It ran very smoothly and I can't wait for the next one.
So this was my first time competing in a S2K and it was a great learning experience. We managed to get the car setup nicely on the new coilovers, but we were fighting terminal understeer all day. I'm guessing it was from too much stagger in tire sizes from front to rear and worn out fronts with new rears.
While the S2K is a great car, I think I'll stick to owning Miatas in the future. Not to keep bashing the S2K, but the RX-8 brakes seem to be a good bit better.
Good driving in S2K street tire Joe (I almost had you). Wow, POS, you must have been flying!
BTW, AATees, on the S2K board is lucky he didn't extend his bet to Miata drivers. He would have ended up paying for 7 drivers in Miata street tire! Good job guys!
