Stock motorcycle exaust cans are cheap since everybody is pulling them off and going custom. I've been thinking about a carbon fiber can myself.
DO NOT do the motorcycle exhaust it looks ugly. And all you have to do it tuck the exhaust up a little bit so you get ground clearance back.
Meh... not a fan of the motorcycle exhaust - little bit too loud for my taste, and the look isn't my thing...
Did some measuring this morning, and referred back to the ::Batman:: board for more tips, and for the life of me I don't see how in the hell the spare tire can fit under the car - so that part of the idea is out.
As for the muffler/center exhaust part, I think a C5 Corvette muffler will definitely work size-wise. One Vette muffler ought to flow enough for a whole Miata (even with a blower on it?), I just wonder how it'll sound...
