I might be up for Fillmore's. I could use a good brew.
Guess I'll check back later to see if a decision has been made.

I think the general consensus is that all us :cat: that want A/C will be at The Fillmore tonight.
Do we want to crank it up around 8-8:30 to let their Happy Hour crowd die down?
No Fillmores for me. TOO LOUD or I'm too old.
ill be heading that way around 8:00 not too far of a drive for me and i have been wanting to go to the Fillmore for some time now. Glad everyone is meeting up there tonight
I'll be there after 8:30. Carazzie is staying home tonite.
Trickyrix and I checked out a couple of places after tonite's Filmore meet.
Across the street is Vickery Park. Looked like they may have a sitting area in the back where we could hear each other from more than 3 feet away.
Next door is a brand new three story pizza/pub called Urban Crust. Brandon, the doorman, said to check with his boss Allen but he thinks they can host a group of 20-30 on their second floor and maybe reserve some parking for us out front.
These two new bars would explain why parking was scarce tonite.
Vickery Park had lots of (ahem) talent roaming around the place, and the beers were the same price as Fillmore. Not sure what, if anything, they had on the dinner menu.
Urban Crust looked very cool, especially from the rooftop bar. I give it Two Thumbs Up - somehow it was about 15 degrees cooler up there than it was on the street.
According to Urban's Brandon, Vickery's been open for a few months, and Urban's been open for a couple of weeks - hence the retarded traffic tonight.
At any rate, both places warrant a look-see for the meow-meow A/C crowd on a Wed Nite. ::Banana::
Good to see everyone last night :thumleft:
I still prefer spending $6 at kellers for a meal and a drink, rather than $20 at Fillmores.......
