+1 on the yeah. The only exception is the TMS road course event on Sept 27th. There will be NO WALK UP REGISTRATION for this event. Also, you must have run 3 autocross events before you run this event.

Do they really grid on the active road?
Why not just grid in the paddock area and send more cars to the stage area when needed.
Or do a smaller version of the SCCA grid.
My suggestions.
They grid on the shoulder close to the fence. Usually most people park half their car in the shoulder and half on the gravel/grass. I don't think there's been a problem as of yet and last time the cops were even there monitoring a bike race and didn't say anything to us.
Does LSBMWCCA allow walk-up registration? I won't know for sure until Friday whether I can make it on Saturday.
CobaltFire, assuming that you are the Miata that is registered in Class C, then you should be in Class Y, not Class C.
Your car is arguably best suited for Class X, but dem's da rules.
Ok, cool. How do I go about changing that? I looked at the SCCA SoloII rules, but I guess I messed that up.
EDIT: Ok, that was easy enough to change. Anyone have a link to help me out with the classes? What I saw online had MSM's in C if I understood it right, which I obviously did not.
See the bottom of http://www.lscbmwcca.org/autocross-rules-2003.html for BMW classing.
Assuming that your car is stock (in accordance with SCCA rules for Stock), then it would be CS in SCCA and ER events.
See the rules on http://www.s2000.org/nts2koc/autox.shtml for NTAXS classing.
See http://mav.pca.org/Events/AX.asp for Porsche club classing.
Wow, thanks a ton! I'm stock with the exception of 16" Wheels atm (moving to 15" soon).
I can't run my factory 17" without buying a new set of tires, they have the original tires on them, and one is not holding air anyhow.
I'm sure I'll end up in CSP anyhow, as I am swapping to a Hydra ECU + 550cc Injectors and a new intake system (FM) in the next few weeks. Cars get expensive FAST... Not like I didn't already know that.
If all you have now are 15" wheels instead of 17" wheels and you are running street tires, then I doubt that anyone in the SCCA or ER Tire class (TCS) would mind. You can sign up for TCS and just ask any other Tire class competitors at the event if they have an issue. They should be okay until you start to win... or add the injectors.
You might start with POS Racing. He's the mean one. Look out for his crony, Onething, too. ;)

Well, until I'm competitive (ever?) I don't mind where I'm placed, I'll be there mainly for fun.
Though putting a MSM in BSP seems a little odd... I don't think I'd have a hope in hell of placing.
There has been an MSM in the trophies at Nationals in BSP. But like you said, until you're a competitive driver it's all going to be relative anyway.
