I parked before Aj got there, but I didn't see Curtis' yellow. I did see Sunlokyee's car. Oh well, it was fun.
Clearer video. I didn't shoot it. You can see me at the beginning of the vid on the left messing with my cameras and hear me cheering at the end...
I got a few pics of him spinning, but nothings better than vid to show off the stupidity.;)

Good seeing some of the guys there. My wife even liked it... O.o
Nice stuff, I'm sorry I missed the Ferrari 330 though.
What was everyone's favorite car? I'd have to say I really liked the Alfa GTV6 Callaway TT.
The Alfa was interesting, I remember reading about it when it came out.
My personal favorite is the Shelby Daytona:

I'll post the rest when I get some time this week.
The viper wasn't the only only bonehead move that morning.

Very cool event.
Hey, there's me at 4:37! I must have been in line with the cool kids.
I have not been to any previous meetings, but were they all this large? It seems that what might have been an informal gathering has gotten too big. When you consider the size of the venue that is required, the event staff that are now required, and the free admission, I just do not see this continuing. I would not be surprised if this was the last event, especially since the main attraction seems to be drivers showing off on public roads as they leave.
where was aj to show them how you really street drift. open diff and all
The show was pretty fantastic. Carrera GT with the kid seat strapped into the right side was very cool, as was the Daytona Coupe. My personal favorite may been the Ferrari 330 GT - and the F50 was up there, too. I think that was the first one I've seen in person. The twin turbo Alfa was very interesting and unusual.
It was pretty cool to see multiples of everything. 5 or 6 e30 M3s, 3 R8s, 2 Ferrari Californias, 2 or 300 Cobras... ;)
Saw JRJ512's car - we even left at about the same time - he passed us as we headed south on the DNT. I was with a buddy in his 1960 Willys Utility Wagon. We were parked on the grass over next to the Ferraris. Sorry to have missed Sharpie and others -I'm guessing we left before you guys got there.
We stopped and chatted with the guy at the DNT entrance to the show for a bit, and at ~9:30, they had counted 400+ cars. Already looking forward to next month.
Next time, I will get there early. That video showed me how many cars I missed. I got there right about 10 a.m.
My bet is they are going to change the event or shut it down. Too many people doing double the service road speed limit on the way out. I was crossing my fingers when the orange viper spun that it would tag the wall or the curb. For every 100 hp over 300 they should require some kind of permit showing you can actually handle the car.
Many cool cars though, CGT and 997.2 GT3 were amazing. Some guy nearly knocked a sidemirror off the F50 walking by too close to the car. The owner was not happy to say the least.
They have this event in most big cities across the US and it's free at all of them. I doubt they will start charging.
Honestly "inviting" a couple of officers to sit at the exit would be a great idea to tone down the hooligans. Just my .02
I thought i was less than a great RWD driver.....
I feel better about my skills in general after watching those boneheads.
wow that looks like quite a bit of fun?? with all the mini's down there was there a miata section?? haha....anyone know when the next one is?
ahh found the "other" thread...
