Speedometer Cable Delete Question

Whatever you do, don't put it in backwards!!! Hmmm though I would like to have less miles on the car

Yep. That's what I ended up using with a hose clamp. I found a pretty red cap. Red is faster.

I had mine replaced a year ago and it's already squeaking!!!! it's so annoying.
