I heard it is boring and has no soul.

It is definitely ridiculously fast in a straight line! It was a monster at the drag strip a few weeks ago.

45 minutes from there to my house Friday evening. I like it already. There are also a slew of fast food places just north of there - not to mention The Cotton Gin
