RIP Jim. I always enjoyed talking with him and walking the course with him. Truly a very nice guy.
I remember taking a ride in his EVO on huge R compound tires, the launch was brutal and I couldn't stop smiling the whole run.
He was such a great guy and may he RIP with unlimited supplies of cigarettes and Hooisers.
Jim was a good customer when he had the white NC. Great guy. Sorry to hear the news. :-(
Godspeed Jim, had many great talks over the years on course walks, and have crossed wheels in similar cars a bit (C5's, MX5's, E36's). A true gentlemen of our sport.
RIP Jim, I really enjoyed his company at autocross events
Jim really was one of the most awesome racers I ever met. He always had a smile on his face, a smoke in his hand, and a story to tell. I have fond memories of long conversations while sharing a corner with him, talking about all the cars he'd owned and the places he'd been.
Godspeed Jim. You will be missed.
And, don't forget the Jim Harris rule, Oldest person on the corner gets the radio. It will mean even more to me now.
:-( Jim was good people and will be missed. Life is too short. Remember fondly those that have gone before us, and hold close friends and family that are still with us.
