The one near the heater hoses? What should I do with it?

Not necessarily that braided one. Check them all!
Connector plugs for the coils?
Time for another JDM motor already?? ;-)
I agree with wrx74!
Pull the fuel pump…If the fuel is cloudy, drain ALL of it.
Certainly could water in the ethanol.
Any codes?
OK, I'll check the fuel. No codes are stored, I checked last night.
There are grounds on the engine wiring harness.
While checking all these electrical connectors are you using dielectric grease when re-connecting? ..ounce of prevention and all that...
^I'm not, but I should. Thanks for the tip.
Is it fixed??
You can also try a product called LPS. It displaces water a lot better than wd 40. You can get lps at a hardware store.
Thanks Lorin. I pulled the plugs, wires and coil pack. It's in the garage with the fan blowing under the hood. Supposed to be dry and sunny on Sunday. I'll probably put it out in the sun and let it bake if it's still acting up tomorrow.
Wonder if it's possible to short out a coil pack?
May have finally figured it out. Put it all back together this morning, and it would crank but not idle or stay running. I decided to unplug the AFM and it would run that way. Going to try a different AFM tomorrow and see if that cures it.
I lied, not the AFM. Back to square one.
Is the problem similar to this guy? -> http://www.dfwmiata.com/threads/2660...old?highlight=

^Nope, not the same. Does it hot or cold. Will run, stumble, run, stumble...you get the idea.
Put a bottle of Techron and a bottle of dry gas (Heet) in it. It went further without bogging, but eventually did...not sure if it's a coincidence or not.
water in the AFM harness???
^Sprayed it down with contact cleaner....don't think so. Now I'm leaning towards clogged cat, or flaky fuel pump. Have to go to a funeral this afternoon, so next steps will have to wait.
Once bought bad gas and no amount of Heet would trap all the water. Truck would only run WOT. Drained the tank and found a glob that looked like jelly about the size of a softball. YMMV.
