Re-read my post & check out the links I had one shows taxes for all 50 states, then you need to add the cost for the Federally mandated reformulated gasoline that is not required in Tulsa, but is required in Lewisville!Quote:

Diesel's finally back to $3 (2.999). Hopefully it'll drop some before my needle points to empty. Right now, it's cheaper to drive the Civic (yuck) at 36 mpg than the wagon (unless it's not lying to me and this tank really is 54 mpg).
I'm guessing that the predicted 60%-90% spike in heating oil costs this winter is going to make the TDI comparatively expensive to operate, even at 40+mpg.
