Will Discount Tire Direct do tire shaving? I want to order a set of 'kooks for S2k events and track days next season, but my research seems to indicate that they do best when shaved to 4-6/32nds initially.

Anyone think going from a 195 to a 205 is worth $47? That's the difference in price at edgeracing.
Should I just see if DT will match the lowest online price or order them online and have BAM! install them for me?
I'm still quite fond of them. Don't think 195 to 205 is worth $47. Al Cavan at Coit & 190 has matched anything I've ever taken in.Quote:

Yep pretty much everything that Tailchaser said. At the track I thought they worked great.Quote:

Don't recall what tires are on the new Rims on Vivid's car but she want them to be replaced with RS2's at my earliest conveinene..... She misses her old RS2.::Curls::
I like them too. It seems as they have become louder over the life of the car. But the whole car has become louder lately. They seem to be easier to make the rear end step out too than I remember on my old MXs. I also have the 195s on a wider than OEM wheel and they look fine. They will provide more grip than anyone should need on the street.
