Looks like we're down to 8AM-11:30 AM Tuesday. Brave thief, stealing it in broad daylight. Perhaps one of the Hiley techs saw it on the way to work and "saved" it for ya!

I wonder if it could have been towed? ::Clown::
OK... kinda serious (and a little conspiracy theory as well)... Once a car has been tagged for 48 hours, it is fair game to towing services, right? The whole towing/processing/storing fee mess is considered a legal scam by many. Is it possible that with competition among towing services, these slime balls have taken their sliminess one step further by picking up tagged car prior to the 48 hours is up and just siting on it for a day before reporting the pickup?
Hurst has a contract with B&B Wrecker. Not to say someone else could have picked up.
From the Hurst website:Quote:
Where are impounded vehicles stored?
Contact B&B Wrecker Service, 1201 W. Euless Blvd., Euless, TX, 817-283-2123.
Inquiries concerning fees, method of payment, and directions to the storage facility should be directed to the towing company. Be prepared to provide information such as the vehicle's year, make, model, and license plate number.
It very could have been stolen in broad daylight. Who's to say, that on 820, at speed, you're gonna take a second look at someone on the side of the road that looks like they're having car trouble... especially in the daylight.
I wouldn't think twice about seeing someone that I thought was working on their car on the side of the road...
Well forrest any good news on your car???
Earth to Forrest......
What ever happened????????
