Dallas, Lakewood Heights / Lower Greenville Area.

Had a close one last night. Almost got lured by the siren call of a cobalt blue Porsche 944 Cabriolet. With 98,000 miles my wallet did not want that as my daily driver. But oh so pretty.

I had one of those. What a nightmare. I re-sold it within a month of getting it. 6 months later, the car was cut up for parts.

Count me in as another BIG fan of the 1.6 NA's... Bulletproof reliability, fantastic free-revving engine.. Warning: it's a bug that will consume you...
I'd spend a few hours searching through the miata.net forums; you will learn very much there, and can spend a ton of time there...

I would say the miata will have better reliability and infinitely cheaper maintenance costs than the Porsche, or probably anything for that matter.
