I am saddened to announce that for the first time in over a decade, Equipe Rapide will NOT be hosting any Evolution Performance Driving schools at Mineral Wells this year.
I have been working hard for over a month to re-schedule the Mineral Wells dates, but ultimately too many factors have come into play to allow me to reschedule. Some of the many factors that led to this decision are date conflicts with the National SCCA and other local car clubs and increasing expenses for travel, hotel, and other items associated with hosting the schools.
Hopefully we will be able to host the schools next year.
For those who can make it, there may still be space available THIS WEEKEND at schools in Texarkana.
The Red River Region is hosting Evo phase 1 and 2 at Texarkana Regional airport on Feb 10/11. Andy and Anne Hollis are expected to be the instructors. Full info is available at http://www.txkautox.com/viewtopic.php?t=33
Thanks for your interest,

Great. Tons of fun. There were only seven students on Saturday and Ann was in Maryland, so Andy did the school by himself. We did the new Phase 1. There were 2 NC's and my NA. Andy used my car to test the courses. The fastest NC did a 31.2 sec as his best, I did a 31.3. Andy did a 30.4 in my car. Everyone was on street tires.
There were only six students in the Phase 2 on Sunday. By the end of the day I was starting to get things together. Four different courses, we only got to walk the first. The next three we ran without walking. Can anyone say "Look Ahead". But, we were allowed to visualize the course before we ran it. On my best run of the day, Andy just sat there and did not say a word. I was doing all the talking. Then I could not back that run up.
I did really bad during the "instructors revenge". The student rides and talks the driver (Andy) through the course by telling him when and where to look. I talked him into missing a few gates. I am having trouble with that verbalizing part.
If I could get 25 runs every day, especially with Andy coaching, I think I might be able to learn to drive a Miata.:burnrubr:
Oh, and it was cold.
