Ask lots of questions. Thereare plenty of knowledgeable people here. There are also lots of kooks but you should be able to figure out who is who within a few days. ;)

Watch out for guys with German sounding screen names. All they know is how to store Miatas in boxes.

There are plenty of smart folks around here that can help you with any mods you can dream up.

I will tell ya to put the premium fuel in your car. When running regular you'll feel the loss of power as the ECU severely retards the timing. I find in mine that I get the best gas mileage with premium - enough of a difference that it costs more to run the cheaper gas.

Thanks for the advice. And with the smallish fuel tank, it's not that much more out-of-pocket per fill-up to spring for the good stuff. (Completely off topic: It's snowing in Bedford as I type this!)

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I've never had a car that came with it's own support group (isn't the internet amazing!). When running errands, I no longer look for the fastest or shortest route. Now I look for the route that has twisties! You know what I mean. Thanks again, I'll be posting questions and adding my 2 cents too.

Why is it that we offer someone a penny for their thoughts but they always want to put their 2 cents in?
