That's one of the few things I dislike about life in the USA... we need driving schools like Germany has. It would take a lot of the riff-raff off the road in a hurry and we would have FAR less vehicle-related deaths :(
A kid accidentally shoots himself and we need to ban ALL guns, but 46,800 people die in 2005 from motor vehicle accidents and nothing happens
They should at least make it mandatory to take a 2 or 3 week driving school... if you fail, you can't take it again for a year. And make the minimum DL age 18. And do psychological testing, lie detector tests, background checks, etc. Make it as involved as getting a pilot's license.
Kind of like people who get road rage and lay on their horn as they "squeal around them"?
I'm just giving ya ::turd:: but your road rage would have got you in trouble in Germany. I'm not innocent. I've been mad at other drivers and acted irrationally too. I think we've all had bad days like you had.
However, I think a lot of road rage is self-escalating. One person does something stupid and we get all hot and bothered. Next thing you know, any minor thing adds to your anger.
Best thing to do is take a few deep breaths and blow the idiot off. Kharma will get him. He was obviously in some hurry and the best thing is to let them pass and get as far away from you as possible. People driving like that should be avoided, not provoked.

As for the generalities, I'd agree it isn't fair. Hummer drivers are excluded. They're all self indulgent pricks. ;)
I also would like to see America take on the attitude that driving is a privilege, not a right. This attitude is the core to most of our motor vehicle problems in the U.S. Most people think they own the road and all other drivers need to get out of their way.
I agree our licensing laws are way to lax. In addition, left lane enforcement should be as big a priority as speeding. Far left lane for passing only, slower traffic keep right and no passing on the right should be more strictly enforced. Instead, they're more concerned that we have license plate frames.
Hey, all I did was honk at him and go around him :D
I don't think it was road rage... I think it was more of a "gtfo of my way, I don't feel like putting up with you right now". Heck, I think most of us are guilty of it at some point ;)
Usually I'm pretty good about it though.
Damn AJ, I thought 3 Bean was bad!
