I hope you'll actually compete. I think you'll like it.

Bring lots of water and sunblock. Bring an umvbrella if oyu've got one (portable shade). Wear light colored clothes (I usually bring an extra shirt so I've got a dry one ot drive home in), and remember to wear closed-toe shoes - no flip-flops or sandals allowed while driving.
Other than that, bring an open mind and a desire to have fun!:burnrubr:
Got it covered!

Made it home okay, but I don't remember the trip (nearly passed out a couple of times). Jerret, I think you were right about it being more because of my scheduling than the heat. Oh well... hopefully I'll do better next time.
Had fun though. Going to sleep now.
I'm glad it was a short day because it was freakin' hot! Fun course. Kudos to SpinOut500. Congrats to the Stinkin' Porsche for winning Street Tire. POS won CS. Mark52 won CSP. Miatamoto won BS.
Mad (I think I'm gonna hurl) Monkey showed up and drove very well for his first AX ever. Congrats!
Just saw on the news the high today was 104 near DFW, crazy. I think that work and run just once was great today.
All and all it was a fun day, just a bit toasty.
But man this makes me sad..... :(
I'm tickled, I didn't finish DFL. ::Banana::I'm going to buy my own trophy for "Not Last Place".
MadMonkey, you drove well today.:drive: Congrats on the 1st in Novice. I hope you are feeling better.
And, Congrats to all the trophy winners.
Congrats to all the survivors, also. It was HOT.::Flame::
Mrs. POS (AKA IMVIVID) was not terribly pleased with the tire situation. She has been the unwilling primary sponsor of all of the POS Racing LLC. cars since we started autocrossing in May of 2001.
We had a meeting tonight where she stressed the importance of taking care of the equipment. She also pointed out that I could be replaced with a younger driver if I chose not to comply with the wishes of the primary sponsor. :(
