Crappers. Now I have to stop by The Czech Stop to get Sammm a gift.
ummmmm, a couple of dozen Kolaches sounds like a nice gift.
Looks like I am still the only AStock:(. I think I am just going to run the street tires like BStock.
So I take a swing and hit 8 ::Clown:: at one time, figure I've done my job for the day and sign off to do some work.
Hours later, I log in, click New Posts, AggieAX, and the first thing I see is jrj512'snew avatar. I laughed for long time. He's the only guy I ever knew who would use a picture of his grandmother as his avatar.
This is gift enough for me, but you really should bring sammmmmyyyy a nice present.
Hey, I didn't know we were stoppin for Kolaches! Now that's tempting.
Have fun guys. Bring back some bling. :burnrubr:
Yeah, I'm stickin' the street tires on for this weekend too......need the 700's for the EVO school and don't think it's worth wasting the 710's yet.
Back to the basics on car handling this weekend! :burnrubr:
So far 66 folks signed up - http://www.dlbracing.com/Clubs/drive...x?EventID=3148 ::Banana::
Too tired to type much, but it was a good time.
I had a great time, well worth the trip, IMHO.
Congratulations to general default for setting FTD. And, to all the people that made the trip.
Well the 2008 autocross season started where the 2007 season left off. I got beat by Mick and both of us got beat by Jarret
Good times, but no group pic :( from this event.
First video (comparison) with more to come. Joe is getting the video from his camera that we mounted on the roof to me so I can splice everything together.
Video!
Good stuff. Man, you are one smooth driver.
Good video, thanks. (Which one is the Stig?)
Ok here is my video. No motor sound for some reason.

Wow - you're smooth and your video was 10 sec quicker than the yin and yang of Stig video
No wonder you had FTD
And now for something completely different.
video of my first run.
well here is the link to runs 2-5, the starter who liked to talk too much distracted me and I forgot to start the camera on run #1.

Enjoy.
Nice job driving, Brad. You really should try to hit as many of the Divisional events as you can, since they will have a Tire class in each.
It is not the Chase Cam. It is more an Apple issue converting things in a Windows world. Youtube does not like my Quicktime videos after they have been edited. It could be a QT thing. When you edit out the waiting in line to go video it crops the video ok but the sound is unpredictable when uploaded to Youtube. Works just fine as a QT file. Something happens in the Youtube/Google conversion process. (flash files) Example of the last video is the start of the video is blurred. Not like that on the originals. I uploaded a wmf file to finally get some sound. Again the camera does fine. I am not using the Chase Cam recorder.
For this event I think something got unplugged or I broke the microphone.
I like your side by side show. I have done that with National runs. I put all three runs side by side and compared. I have also compared side by side other drivers to see where one is faster than the other. As you know the sound tells the true story if you drove well or not. To me video without sound is worthless as far as a learning tool. That is why I will keep the RB exhaust as you can sure hear that! :D
:snack:
If you are editing QT on a mac, export it to MPEG 4 using the h.264 codec and things should be fine on YouTube. you can also ann 1-2 seconds of black to the beginning to keep everything smooth, or just send me your videos.
