Snow. Yes.
That's NUTS! I'm at the office over here by Northpark and I haven't seen a damn thing but rain!
WTF! The sun is shining bright over here!
Nah, j/k! It's raining right now. The streets are flooding, too. I just got home from Plano, where it was sleeting very heavily!
I made a quick run up to the store to stock up on blizzard essentials. In less than the ten minutes I was in there, the Miata was covered to the point where the windshield wipers couldn't move all the snow buildup, it was so thick and heavy. Even though it's above freezing, the roads are slick as snot.
Gee kids... don't you know that the proper place for a sports car (or a pickup truck) during a snow storm is IN the garage???

::Hyper:: We're still having our Westside GTG tonight - Right?!
I just took a drive to Sonic in the Integra.

I'm not blaming it all on the car though. Traffic is crazy right now... I might take a fun run around midnight.
I just got home from work and I saw nothing but water. :(
No snow.
No ice.
Nothin! Boo2
Nobody mentioned mud showers. West Texas rain with so much dirt in it that it looks like mud.
Cold + wet = I'm in the house if at all possible ;)
Rogue's poor LE. All that hanger space, a 2 car garage, and the LE gets the snow. It's all Madmonkey's fault for taking up the space. It only took me just under 2 hours to drive 22 miles from Flower Mound to Denton. I saw at least 15 cars off the road on my way up the back roads.
We get all but "snow" here fairly regularly.
- Rain = Not that big a deal if folks pay attention.
- Hail = Pain in the neck that typically happens in warmer weather. Usually comes in short "bursts", and dents your car.
- Snow = Cars can still get some traction.
- Sleet = Bad news, difficult to drive in.
- Freezing Rain = Worse thing possible because it's deceptive. You think it's just rain (see above) but it freezes on the ground making people slide all over the place.
