Keep lookin! I found my '94 up tear Tulsa on eBay after I made the rounds on the DFW classifieds/DFW AutoTrader...
Believe me, keep checking back here... you might find a good one here or you might find one close on eBay...
Good Luck!

^Out of your price range? Worth checking out?
Yeah...I was kinda pissed, its been sold for a few weeks now, like I said that white one was *perfect*
I like it... it's owned by a member from here too. Its out of my price range at the moment, but in a few weeks..... who knows, they may want to work with me ;)
Huh, didn't know he is a member here. Even though I like it too, I'm waiting for that EXCELLENT deal : ).
Actually it is a really nice one. The first person to see it tonight (after I had to put in the new radiator yesterday :( ) is buying it, picking it up tomorrow ;).
Now I get to concentrate on my '93 LE... :D
Good luck with your searches. You will find one eventually.
Bought mine last April off of Ebay but I did go and look at it and test drove it before making the deal. Told him what I would pay and he agreed, so I placed my bid and he closed the auction early. Don't be afraid to use Ebay as a listing service but narrow the search to a distance you are willing to drive and check out the car in person. My two cents.
As an example, this is one I would take the time to look at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-...em200232153752&
Care to elaborate? 93 didn't come in Tan, or LE doesn't come in Tan...
Thanks for posting that Creek... I called the number, but a lady answered and said i must have the wrong number :(.
How did you find that Creek? I've been googling, yahoooing, autotradering, craigslisting, cars.coming it...... along with about a half dozen other places...
In 1990, leather interior was not available. In 1991, the BRG special edition car was the only one with leather. In 1992, there was an SE that was black with tan leather and BBS wheels. To confuse things, they also added a "C Package" that included leather to the lineup. It was only available in black with tan leather, so it was often confused with the 1992 SE although it did not have BBS wheels. When 1993 rolled around, there was the LE, which was black with red leather interior and BBS wheels. They continued to offer the C Package only in black and tan. That is what the car listed above is. In 1994, the C package was expanded to other colors.
wow.
you sir, are a veritable treasure trove of info.
now, if only he would have a valid phone number..... hopefully he answers the email

Not that big a secret: AOL has a search engine that pulls up obscure online advertisers like the one you saw and the Dallas Observer and other free papers. http://autos.aol.com/
I've used that search engine.... I'm almost positive.... either way, i appreciate it!
As for free papers, i should go grab a thrifty nickle, greensheet....
I think i may drive to the bario dealerships next week and cruise around.
Just FYI, I bought my Miata off eBay and got a hell of a deal, IMHO. I talked to the seller, got a good feel for the car, and got his word that if the car was crap I wouldn't have to take it home. Yes, there was some risk, but I felt like this guy was golden - and he was. I was a last-second bidder and won the car at the price I was gunning for!
It was a LOT better deal than anything I found here in Dallas... but that was before I knew about DFWMiata.com...
Anyhow, before you buy, ask around here and see if anyone has anything good for sale. If not, see if anyone can check your potential prize out for you... ;)
We're generally happy to oblige...
Good luck!
Which brings up another point: If you find one that looks/sounds promising - do not pass GO, do not collect $200 - go check it out. Even that may not be enough.
Before I bought my car, I had 2 NAs that were bought out from under me between telling the seller "I'm on my way to see it" and arriving on the other side of the Metromess.
Opinions on this one...... Seller says $400 shipped to dfw...

It looks perfect to me, and it's even white....
I am always leery of an EBay ad that says everything is in Excellent condition. There has to be at least a few imperfections on a 100k mile car. Also, almost every early white Miata I have seen has had paint issues. As perfect as the paint on this one looks in pictures, I would not be surprised if it was a re-spray. Then again, if the price is right, I still might take a chance on it.
or... local... removedlink
that would be ideal..... no answer though.
In kinda want a white car so i can respray it pearl white.... I know some of you will think thats a crime.... lol

Nice car!
BTW... not sure what your airbag wheel looks like, or if you were going to ditch it or what, but my old one's not too bad. If you want it you can have it... I'm tired of kicking it every time I go into my closet.
Congrats! Nice looking car.
PM sent trickyrix.
I'm so pumped... been out driving most of the evening!
I need to get it titled to me, and inspected this month.... get 2 new rear tires before inspection (front are almost new), and do a brake job in the none to distant future. Other than that I think it's all good. Recently resprayed... cheapish paintjob, but ok from 10'. I need to clean overspray from the lenses. Also I am debating painting them white.... Any reason NOT to?
Anyone have an OEM cd player for sale, or sitting in a closet?
A boot (roof?) cover they don't use?
Any other parts?
Congrats, one less person to compete with in my search : P. I recommend this book.
http://www.amazon.com/Mazda-Miata-En...932756&sr=8-12
I have the 1.8l version for my previous car, and it's really good.
Congrats! The Enthusiast's book is a good one to have. Plenty of normal how-to instructions on Miata.net too.
If that's the one I sent you I get a finders fee. Either way let me know if you need any help. That year model would not have a OEM CD player. It would have a AM/FM Cassette which I could probably lay my hands on but you wouldn't want I assure you. Congratulation!!! Let the spending begin and the joy be unconfined. Oh, wait....I'm supposed to be a sourpuss....
If you're happy and you know it:clap:, think again.
One I just heard:
An optimist thinks the glass is half full
A pessimist thinks the glass is half empty
An engineer thinks the glass is twice as big as it needs to be
A metaphysisist thinks there is no glass
Oh, by the way the Texas Region SCCA is having a big swap meet next month, should be plenty of goodies there: http://www.autocross.com/texasregion/
nope, was a different one... the one you found never contacted me via email, and the phone number was no good.
im wondering if this would fit and just be a plug and play....

I could.... but I'm currently searching for an answer...put that here on a whim
Nothing worse than opening a new thread and being told to search ;)
That being said, im gonna clean up the car a bit Sat. night and post up some pics I hope.
So it's Easter, when the dead come to life, So, thought I'd bump an eons old thread.....
I was looking for an old stereo link I had posted, and in the search ran across one of my original threads. /Nostalgia
