What were we talking about again?
That sounds great....the topless car needs a brake fluid change and a clutch. Oh, and if there's time a 1.6/1.8 swap :twisted:Quote:

I'm only going to bring one of the cars. I'm not sure which one yet.
'90 needs new Tranny fluid, I'd like to try RedLine & I'd like to replace the rear brake pads.
However,
'97 needs to have the power windows lubed up, as they are slow as X-mas, and bugg'n the crap outta me.
You know it's not so bad! :drunken:Quote:

Hey..Screamin...wanna drive down with me to the tech thingamajig? Check your pm's on the Frisco board.
Can't wait to talk to someone tomorrow who knows something about these cars. Have they been invited?
For the Tech day # 1 rule is, If you drain it out of your car it needs to leave with you.
Also if you have paper towels or shop rags bring them since I don't have a huge supply on hand.
If you want a non-alcoholic beverage to enjoy during the tech day you need to bring it.
You supplying the alcoholic beverages?
No I am not you Troll. :roll:Quote:

I'm out - It's 3rd Saturday weekend.
I'm off work on 1/3/05 for the holiday and will be happy to sponsor a tech day at my place (no indoor shop though... the garage is full of junk) on either Sunday 1/2 or Monday 1/3 if anyone wants to work in the great outdoors ;)

Also if you have jack stands bring them since we can have several cars in the air at the same time.
And once again :If you want to attend you need to PM me, I'll send you directions to the undisclosed location! Since this is an open forum I’d rather not post the location on the board.
Figure we will go 9:30am to 3:30pm!
I actually need some advice on wiring also. I have not figured out how to get my speaker wires into the door other than running them around the frame and into the door wiring boot which has been pulled from it's attachment to the frame  Not the cleanest install but functional.
If anyone in the Plano, Frisco area wants to run together let me know...
Check your inbox mr. 3bean 8)

Figured I'd bump this note to the current page:

I'll bring an extra set of stands too. I'm torn right now between going to the event or micro managing my fantasy football team. One more playoff win and I'm in the MONEY.
Can you PM me I would like to meet everyone and get some feedback on my Miata. I am a new owner and am still learning. I have to go to work tomorrow (night shift) but would like to stop by.
You have a PM! :wink:Quote:

It was fun! Sorry I couldn't stay long. Hopefully the next one will be on a Sunday and I can stay all day!
It was great meeting all of you.
Thanks to POS for the invite. :)
I'm out for today. Watching the kiddos.
See ya all soon.
VERY NICE!!!
I have a tachometer!!!
I love these tech days.
What was it?
Idiocy in action.
It was a banner Tech Day for sure! Thanks as always to POS for hosting. We set a record today...I counted 13 Miatae on hand! 8) It was good to meet some of the new folks on board!
Top Achievement - 3Bean exorcised his electrical gremlins!
Bottom Achievement - Someone wanting to see my NA and then leaving before I got back.
It was great to meet all of you today. Wish I could have stayed longer. Actually I wish I had gotten there earlier, but I was painting my house this morning. Man, my priorities are screwed up. Thanks guys for the invite.
Thanks POS... always a quality day!
Thanks POS for a quality day. Click this http://teachandtech.smugmug.com/gallery/323869 for the pics :D
Well, I certainly enjoyed the day! Finally put faces and people with some screen names = certainly understand a lot of the posts I've read better now!
Thanks to all of you who helped me during the day.
About Tim the Teacher's photos: some should have never been taken, much less posted
Calling no names, some need to learn how to wash their hands and clean the sink at the same time, but all in all, POS was bragging about how good the place looked after all of us packed up. :thumrigh:
Super kudos to POS for doing this considering all the painkillers he had to take to get through the day. I told him last night he should just call it off, but he was there and nicer than normal. Oh, wait, maybe the :drunken: drugs worked better than I realized! So, finally, thanks to his Doctor and Druggist for coming through - finally!
