That stupid microwave gave me fits. I couldn't get the old one out.... ended up taking the old one out using the bfh method.
So your saying the old microwave has a new designer shape?
Looks very nice. I need to add the wiring and install mine now.
well. FINALLY got a new refrigerator. Lowe's Home delivery rocks. The fridge at Lowes was cheaper than at Cons or Sears, and the deliery was fee, whereas cons wanted to not only charge a delivery fee of $60, but an additional fee for 2nd story delivery.
I also tackled the bathroom for another update.
This was what it looked like when I bought the place.

We removed the wallpaper, and changed out the lighting and mirror, and had this for the last 2 years.

I like the red personally, and my master bath is still that color, but the girlfriend and the roomate weren't thrilled. Soo..... the cabinets were refinished in white this last summer, I added hardware and i repainted it blue a couple weeks ago. Last week the *wonderful* 1980's faucet started leaking at the connection point so I took that as a sign to change the faucet out. Faucet changed easily enough, but the pop-up drain gave me fits, and brute force ended up winning. I couldn't get the top piece off of the drain, so i just bent it inward so as to be able to get the danged thing out. Found a spoon, and some fake nails in the P-trap...... ewww.....

I think my next project will be the floor. Has vinyl tile at the moment....... we shall see.....
and that project is behind me now too.
wood laminate for bathroom use.... under $100 for the bathroom, and no more peeling up vinyl tiles.

Nice job!
A friend of mine is importing granite countertops from China at really good prices (around 1/2 of Lowes/Home Depot) if anyone else wants to tackle a DIY project.
Cosmo,
I might be interested in a 5 foot countertop with double sink. I need to update the upstairs bath. Please send me the info.
