Got my confirmation e-mail for Sunday. ::Banana::
Anyone from the Sunday crowd feel like a waffle or two before?
Ok 9:30 it is for Saturday. Which waffle house is it? Also I may stop by the waffle house on Sunday to because I get to do it a second time. I found the loop hole so I am registered as a friend of mine's guest.
The phone number is on the e-mail you didn't receive. ;)
Glad I could help! ::Banana::

I'm out. We're headed up to OKC for a family GTG. Y'all have fun.
Are we meeting at Pig or WH?
I am not sure about the sunday group, but saturday is meeting at waffle house at 9:30. see yall there:D
It was meh, 2 runs on a 30ish second autocross course. I drove the turbo 4 (felt really really week) and the V6, both in 6MT. The 6speed was not bad, good torque, pretty neutral steering and good brakes but it felt every bit the 3,400+ pounds. The V6 feels a bit like a heavier RX-8 with a little more low end grunt.
Did you set FTD?
Of course he didn't. I was there.
I'll agree on the "meh" rating. Biggest downer was only getting two runs in the car. Maybe this was mentioned and I wasn't paying attention, but when I got out of the car after my second run and the nice lady asked me to step to the left so I could fill out a questionnaire I was thinking "That's it?"
I only drive the V6 manual. It's a decent car for the money. The V6 had good mid range torque, but for 306 HP I wasn't blown away. The car is a bit heavy, and you definitely notice that in the short slalom on the track. It just doesn't really want to change direction all that quickly. Other than that it was pretty well balanced, with enough power to balance out the mild understeer.
It was a better car than I thought it might be, but not good enough to entice me to part with $20-30k for one.
The wife and I are out. :(
You kids have fun!
I'm not going to be able to make my appointment today. I got sent to Miramar California to support a training op so no drivey for me.
That was not bad. True, it was just a couple of AX runs, but as Ken O pointed out, it was a nice AX fix for this dry time. We were out of there within 15 minutes. I guess I would have been less satisfied if we had waited for a long time.
We each drove a V6 manual and Turbo 4 manual. We both liked the V6 better. Either would make a fine daily driver.
I liked the turbo 4 better, it felt lighter on it's feet to me and the car felt as if there was no lag but it made me wonder if there was just very little boost.
I bought one.
