I think it was a C6???? The older styled Z06's. Went off coarse and form what it sounded like found a wall. Didn't hit it to hard because he drove off coarse under its own power, but it didn't run anymore runs for the rest of the day.Quote:

I was working corner 6 so it was far off from me. We thought we heard control say he hit the wall. It was in heat 3. The big TMS duly safety truck even went out there. How did everyone miss this???
It was a fun event and things went pretty smooth all in all. Too bad that I coned each run. The car felt great, though.

Yep, there was a black C5 Z06 that hit the wall during the 3rd heat. Driver was okay, car looked like about $1k in damage, all cosmetic.
I had a lot of fun today! Jeremy's car is surprisingly easy to drive for being such a beast. Jon got me by a couple of tenths on raw time and a second or so on clean runs, but I beat Jeremy straight up and on raw time. :mrgreen:

I had a good day, and I avoided doing any paperwork. I hate the damage done, and I'm glad it was all cosmetic as far as I could see.
