I'd be disappointed if you didn't go to Florida... I never had the opportunity with my father.Quote:

I will be at the S2K, but I'm going to spend Father's Day with my Dad.
As an example:Quote:

Still planned. The current problem is finding a weekend day that the lot is not being used by another club, swap meet, etc. I'll let you guys know once we get a date nailed down.Quote:

Man everyone is running this event.....it sucks I can't make it out on Saturday. The boss says no! :(
I have really been wanting to run a S2K event. Maybe next month. I am running the SCCA Sunday event...looks like I am the only Miata in TCS. I might actually trophy.
In driving through Mineral Wells I never noticed a McDonalds. Where is this mythical place? :-o
Nevermind, this internet thing is going to catch on, it has answers to all your questions.
Nope, not even close.:) We're working on finishing it up...Quote:

Yes, yes... but your post uses Fathers Day as a reason why attendance by S2000 drivers is low, compared to the Miata count that is at it's normal level. My point is, if Father's day was the reason for lower attendance, it would be lower for everyone -- S2000 drivers and Miata drivers -- and it's only the S2000 drivers that seem to be missing this one. In other words, Father's Day isn't a differentiator between Miata attendance (which is normal-to-high) and S2000 attendance (which is low). I'm just sorry more of them won't be there.Quote:

Maybe miata drivers don't have any fathers and kids to celibrate with.Quote:

It wasn't terrible. There was a nice breeze blowing all day and I don't think it got as hot as it was supposed to. I was dreading it, but it turned out to be a great day.Quote:
