Plano Pkway & Beltline Brown Piloti shoes with lower heel rise than the others.
2 10.5's 2 12's and a 9
Whats the big deal with these shoes......
I bet all the non-autocrossers in here don't even know what Pilotis are. But $20 to jump on any bandwagon is a cheap price of admission. I now have 3 pairs and they're great for walking and looking like a nerd at the mall. People sometimes ask if they are rock climbing shoes.
Why is everyone so excited about shoes? Oh, that's right this is a "Miata" forum. ::Fruity::::Fruity::::Fruity::
Just kidding.
I wonder if any stores in Houston have them.
My vans slip-ons work great as driving shoes and they can be found for $20 all day.
Still lost.... why are these so popular... explanation?
I love to drive in my Birkenstocks......
I sure hope you clowns call each other before the next big get-together to avoid looking like the Piloti brigade...
One down here by the Parks mall has them in several sizes, but only one below 10.5(unless you need 6.5, wtf). It was my size, 9.5, G16 in a very ugly turquoise color ; (.
Great. Now that all the common people have them I will need to find some new shoes.
I looked at them today. I still prefer my Pumas with their much thinner sole.
The next AutoX or track event will be interesting with all you ::Paul:: in matching shoes. How "cute". ::Fruity::
I picked mine up at the Puma Oulet a few years ago for about $30.

Ugh look what I started.
I dunno, I buy them for what they are, not for the fashion/trendy statement they make. If they work and are cheap, I wouldn't care if you had 10 of the same pair.
These are great for driving and they are lined with Nomex so when you crash and burn, the track crews can identify you by your hangnails and bunions. ::Bleh::
BTW, I stopped by a couple of Ross stores in Houston on the way home and picked up a couple of pairs in my size. Both stores had at least half a dozen pairs each, mostly in Shaq and Tinkerbell sizes.
