Well... I decided to try some Mobil1 75-90 in the tranny this time around. And I finally installed the speed bleeder fitting for the clutch slave. Nice clean clutch fluid and no more grind going in to second at redline. Maybe I'll remember to bleed that bugger more often in the future so that I'll find less syncro attached to the drain plug when I change the tranny oil.

So... Where are you cheap bastards finding Mobil1 for less than Redline? It was $7.99 a quart everywhere I went... That's $.50 a quart more than Redline...

The NAPA Auto Parts near my house always seems to have all sorts of Mobil 1 in stock... I'll check for you tomorrow.
