Same thing, basically. Keep it pinned all the way through but close your eyes ;)

Ken, what was you vMax according to MaxQ? I looked at the log for the last session and it said 118.

Cool vids Ken. Like watching the telemetry on them. Thanks for posting.
Congrats on the record, the silver bullet was flying all day saturday and fun to watch. Just curious, do they weigh the top 3 cars or any of them? What does yours weigh in at? Any kind of post tech?
I still hate rattlesnake....
I was 3690 with my super sized ass in the car.
The white TTU "almost a ZR-1" was like 3060 with the driver (or something like that).
Video of the other TTU Vette
Interesting that he takes the inside line in big bend too...
He does have some issues with control in some corners though lol.
130 before Rattlesnake and 125 before Little Bend. Sure is tail happy though.
Feedback from a BMW racer:
* You're binding up the car on exit of ricochet, don't be afraid to use all the track out and curbing, that'll allow you much more apex and exit speed.
* Displace the first apex of tombstone more, this will let you track out more mid way through tombstone, get on the throttle sooner, and increase your apex and track out speeds. Again, don't be afraid of track out and rumble strips.
* Get to the curbing of big bend early, there's a groove there that'll hold you in. Stay at the curbing until the apex cone and begin tracking out. There's a lot more track out room at big bend than you thought ever existed, use it.
Looks like getting to the curbing is the better line. I will give it a try next time out.
Ken, who is that directed at? Me or the vette?
Edit: your email clarified it, the comments are on YOUR video and your line.
In my car, I typically upshift to 4th just before Ricochet, breathe off the throttle at turn in to load the front end, then flat on the throttle all the way through the corner to settle the back end. Use all of the rumble strip on exit. As the track flattens out in the last third of the corner it compresses the car and adds grip, so you can carry more speed post apex to track out than you think you can. IMHO, if you are not drifting the car out to the edge of the rumble strip on exit, you're giving up speed in this corner, and consequently speed down the inside straight.
When he says “the first apex of Tombstone”, does he mean the apex in Boot Hill? I’ve always offset that apex by about 1/3 the track width, which gives you one nice, long, no-lift arc from the track in at Boot Hill through the track out at Tombstone, at least in a momentum car.
I’ve always gone all the way to the curbing in Big Bend, and typically end up running all the way out to the rumble strip on the exit, but again I’m typically driving a momentum car.
