. . . he has to wear his helmet in the bathroom. Sorry, just couldn't resist. POS is a bad influence on me.

Great day. Cracked two wheels. Should cost the same as my cracked tooth.

Oh no! What happened?
No clue. I didn't hit or have an off. mr brg saw it before I went out for last session. THANKS to him for seeing it. It was the front and rear on the passenger side.
Ken, thanks for giving my brother-in-law a ride today. He was impressed with your driving skills. Sorry to hear about your cracked wheels. :(
Lots of fun today! It was great to see all the Miatas out there!

Sorry to hear about the wheels, Ken. D Force? Maybe they'll help you out with some replacements.
I had a great time, finally got some open track in the last session and put in a few good laps. Nice to see so many dfwmiata guys out there.

Found a picture of me at that link, thanks for posting.
I also had a good time. Nice to see so many DFW Miata people at the track.
I reached the thermal capacity of my rotors for this track. Its not a problem at TWS, HHR, MSR, Hallett, or MSR-C, but this track eats up my brakes. After about 5-laps I lose friction/brake torque.
I had a good 6+ laps with a Spec Boxster in the last session until brakes died with a passenger in each. He said he ran 2:05's and 6's when we were playing so that shows improvement although I should be running 2:02's. That was one of the most fun sessions I've run in my car.
I do. Trackspeed Engineering in Cali uses me to test stuff that's under 300whp with no aero. I've done quite a few things for them and may end up keeping this brake kit because I don't have problems with it at any other track. ECR is almost comical considering it's beating on brakes...there's only so much iron you can fit in a 15" wheel.
Last year, my fastest speed down the back straight was 85 mph. This year with a little more experience, a little more tire and a little more brakes, I topped out at 92 mph. My best lap was a 2:24.0, second fastest was 2:24.1.
